It is called the Natural way of the Lozoya Valley, you can start this route from the Puente del Perdón, in Rascafría, built in the 18th century. It is a route fully equipped for both hiking and biking. It runs through the Lozoya upper valley in its entirety, allowing a tour of the towns that settle in the valley, and also passes through interesting heritage displays such as the Paular monastery or the Buitrago walls.

It is made up of several branches such as Los Batanes, Santa Ana Hermitage, La Concepción Hermitage, Fuensanta Hermitage, Canencia branch or the one that goes to Los Prados Hermitage.

The route in which the constant presence of the Lozoya river also runs along the edge of the Pinilla reservoir and gives us the opportunity to see some examples of historical civil architecture associated with the river, such as the already mentioned Puente del Perdón (in El Paular) or the Congosto Bridge (Lozoya).

The length of the main route from El Paular (Rascafría) to El Cuadrón is 31.7 km. If we continue to Buitrago del Lozoya, we would have to add 7.2 km.

It is a beautiful route to do it in stages, spending the night in any of the beautiful mountain villages through which this route runs and learn more about the culture, heritage or gastronomy of the area.
